CPRI Brake Shop clinic: Strategy Documents
These CPRI Brake Shop strategy documents are organized into quick reference sheets by symptom/difficulty rather than by diagnosis; each document begins with a brief, simple explanation of the problem and then offers many suggestions for ‘brake adjustments’ (treatment), ‘detours’ (accommodations), and/or ‘external brakes’ (strategies for keeping the individual on-track despite the skill deficit).
A more generic strategy document for individuals with ‘leaky brakes’ (Bill of Rights), as well as a strategy document listing accommodations to be provided in a ‘leaky brake’ Individualized Education Plan (School/Classroom Approaches), are also available below.
